League Registration - Softball

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL PLAYERS

❖ WHAT’S NEW FOR 2026?

• Registration will open February 1, 2026 and close February 28, 2026

• No Volunteer deposit check will be collected, $250 will be charged to the credit card on file if hours are not fulfilled

❖ IMPORTANT NOTE

• Players must attend school in the Shawano School District

❖ HOW DO I REGISTER A PLAYER?

• Register online & pay with a credit/debit card or checking/savings account. **Go to www.shawanoyouthleague.org and click “Online Registration” **Deadline to register is February 28, 2026

Softball 8U - 12U

This program runs from April - June

Girls Softball is for girls with a League Age of 7-12. League Age is determined based upon a player’s age as of September 1, 2025.

*7/8 Division Games are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays

*9/10 Division will participate in a weekday traveling league

*11/12 Division will participate in a weekday traveling league

Players will be drafted to a team and contacted by a coach after Skills Day. Practice times will be decided by coaches and communicated at the Parent Meetings.

Softball 8u - 12u $70

Volunteer Requirements

Our 4 hosted tournament weekends are a major fundraiser for our League. Player fees remain low because of the income generated during these tournaments. It is for that reason; we ask ALL FAMILIES to volunteer 5 hours during one of the tournament weekends. To ensure we have enough volunteers, a $250 per Family fee will be charged to the card on file if the volunteer requirement is not fulfilled
